As a developer of state-of-the-art electronic and lighting products, HELLA is now able to offer its customers a new and innovative lighting system, which combines the side marker and reflex reflector function with that of the direction indicator. The complete system is controlled by an LED electronic control unit which can be inserted in the junction box or in the multifunction lamp 340 960 / 340 961. The system excels because the existing 2 wire cabling architecture can be used. The lights are designed in compliance with the new ECE R48 regulations and the Hella standard 67101. As regards mounting and the mounting position, the new side marker light can be easily fitted in vehicles which have already had products from the 008 645 series installed.
